We’re Linda and Chris
We’ve been traveling together since 2015.

How We Got Here
We met through our jobs in the federal world. Linda was interning as a park ranger with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and Chris was working as a field ranger.
We became friends first.
A couple of years later, that friendship turned into something more. Soon after, we started traveling together.
A year later, Elvis walked Linda down the aisle as she married her favorite travel partner.
What started as a friendship became a marriage, a shared love of travel, and a life filled with adventures neither of us ever expected to have.

Travel Became Who We Are
Chris had already traveled through parts of the Southwest before we met. I had a long list of places I wanted to see, but most of them still felt out of reach.
Once we started traveling together, that changed.
Since 2015, we’ve made a point to take at least one major trip each year, with shorter trips in between whenever we can.
We travel for national parks, historic sites, scenic roads, small towns, local food, trains, battlefields, roadside attractions, and the unexpected places we discover along the way.

There is too much to see to keep putting it off.
So we make time for it.

Where the Name Came From…
“We Never Do Anything” started as a joke.
We were always going somewhere, planning something, taking a road trip, heading to a game, visiting family, or squeezing in another day trip.
One day I said, “We never do anything.”
Chris answered, “I know.”
That was it.
The name stuck because it was so obviously untrue.
The name started as a joke and ended up fitting us perfectly.
A Little More About Us

Chris
Chris is the planner, the driver, and the history person. He has spent his career as a ranger and loves visiting battlefields, national historic sites, and the stories behind the places we visit.
Linda
Linda is the nature person. Her background is in biology and ecology, so she’s usually in La-La-Land looking landscapes, wildlife, plants, and the little details around us. She also handles the photography, video, design, website, and storytelling for WNDA.

Together
Chris can pack more stops into one day than most people would attempt in a week. If it were entirely up to him, we might see half the vacation through the car window.
Linda is the one more likely to slow down, take it in, talk to people, and spend a little longer somewhere than planned.
The tradeoff works. Without Linda, we would probably rush past some of the best parts. Without Chris, we might never make it past the first two stops.
